shocks

Post by DR Frankenstine »

I had a 351 in my old LWB and had no problems (appart from fuel consumption) I wouldn't do a spoa on a LWB as for some reason they have a lot more body roll (when lifted) than a shorty.

mine is going to be a trailer queen seeing as i can not regester it here in the us yet-but am working on that-so body roll is not a concern.which 351 did you use? ford made 2 different ones.mine is a M not a windser

when you finish the SPOA, ramp it and measure the distances, (compressed and extended)

this will give you all the info you need to buy shocks.

Fair question I reckon, because even thought I know what it means, I am fucked if I know what the "P" stands for.

once you have your measurments, the ranchos wont be hard to get. just specify eye or pin mountings. and your done.

there wont be any ready made answer because it all depends how old the springs are/how youve set it up/and lots of other factors.

it gives you a good opportunity to ramp it and take photos for us too ;)
