Removal of rear window
Removal of rear window
I need to remove my rear window from my hard top. I have had to replace my rear door and my new one is a lovely red, but the rest of the car is grey.
Any ideas on how to remove it so I can spray the door, without cutting the rubber?
Thanks

I have done 3 for 3 without problems, it aint that hard if your careful
getting it out....it will only go one way. more likely roll and push the rubber seal from the inside to the outside. It'll eventually come out as you work arond the window.
getting it in...get some thin string ($2 clothes line rope from coles) and loop it through the groove in the rubber seal.....get some soapy water and lube up the rubber seal....place the window against and simply pull the rubber seal through using the string, starting at one side and work around the window until you have come full circle (so to speak).
