Well now we're just being silly aren't we?

Imagine...a brick shithouse on roller blades being propelled by NOS? The panels would peel away from the chassis one by one. :D

Suoercharging is easy get a blower of a 4agze and the rest is easy you can still run a carby .
Nos is also easy to fit you can get a second hand kit for about $200 I just sold the kit I had on my Zook at the nissan trials last year.
It gave me 30% more torque not bad for 25hp kit.

sam,

I was serious when I was asking about the steering box in my first post though *LOL*

the NOs, well, I've already got the kit   :D
but I doubt it will go onto the zook. it'll more than likely go onto the next proj vehicle(not a 4b).

yes jimbo gave me the kit. I'll use it on my next project.

he's now got twin turbo on the ute. pulls a low 13 down the 1/4 mile atm, and it's not even finished yet

Skippy I assume you are talking about the nut that holds the pitman arm onto the steering box? A good rattle gun and a little bit of heat not to much though as you will damage the arm.

Okay then Sam :) Asking on behalf of my Girlfriend Heather who now has a nice little 1ltr 84 Zook...

We've put a 2" suspension lift on it and fixed up a head gasket problem..time to get the ball rolling now.

Wondering what's going to be the best way to progress?

Aim will be 31s, thinking I'll go body lift rather than SPOA to keep stability there...she's not going too hardcore...yet heh. I'm guessing R&P's will need to be updated but if we drop rock hoppers in, does this eliminate that need ie change hi range as well? Usual other stuff will be done as well, Snorkle, roll bars, bar work in general etc (well..it will be once I can find some bloody metal to practice my welding on...can't believe I still can't find any hehe recommendations on where to get scrap metal, tube and steel for sliders, bar work welcome as well! )

Pic of her beast as it is now..

Been on leave for a couple of weeks so i've haven't got online much.

Unfortunately due to problems getting parts and dramas getting machining done etc progress has been pretty bloody slow, and it doesnt look like i'll get it back together in time for xrcc.

Tracked down some gear today, so let's hope it's what I need. Now all I have to do is find someone to get this machining done for me!!!!

Murray the rockhopper for the 1 litre doesnt change high range ratio, only low range.. (I'm 99% sure of that as mine doesnt seemed to have changed on road). Its the best mod you can do but, and i like the crawl ratio mine has with the 1 litre diffs - 4.1 and 4.16 in the transfer case, which means the old 1 llitre goes good offroad when the carby isnt playing up.

Ferwoza if you use a 1.3 sierra transfer with rockhopper you won't need to change the diff ratios as they change high range as well. Also 1ltr diffs aren't thge same as 1.3 so to my knowledge there aren't other diff ratios for the 1ltr centres. Imay be wrong

att overkill

I am doing the conversion to efi using the TBI from the jap spec vitara 8v 1.6 but want to do the 4agze supercharger next.

What is needed and how easy is it to do it onto a 1.3 g13b.

Brackets sound easy but what else. I was going to run a switch for the supercharger to have it off when street driving to conserve fuel.

cheers
