The main prob has been time. Over the last 6 week neither brother or myself have been home during the week.
Ive spent week in hunter valley, week in canberra, week in melbourne, week in central coast, and i go to canberra again tomorrow for 3 or 4 days.
Brother has been leaving home Sunday arvo/night and working in Wagga for last 8 weeks and he doesnt get back home till thurs or fri nights.
Just been too busy with work commitments so havnt put any hrs in at all during week nights and have run out of weekends.

Parts wise havnt recieved hydro steer yet and am waiting on front coil overs also. Not waiting on Gonads for anything Jamie just not enough hours left to get car ready.

Jobs still to do>

finnish roll cage, mount seats & harness's, Tube front end, coil over & 4 link front diff, hydro steer, new rear control arms, fit winch. thermos for radiater in back, move batteries to back, re run/mount all wiring as no inner guards etc etc.......

Believe me, we know we want to go but it aint gonna happen unfortunately....

Are the specator's areas of the park suitable for 2WD vehicles?

I'm keen to get along, but buggered if I'm spending 10 hours in a soft-top Vitara over the Range.

It is 2WD access to the camp sites and also to the comp sites!

However the roads are dirt and with a large number of vehicles traveling over it it does become quite bumpy.

What i am trying to say is that yes a 2WD would be fine but i would not be taking a lowered SS commodore or merc in!

There is a little info on this subject further back (i think)

Jai,

I was down there yesterday and it was quite cool!

When we arrived at 8.30am Hans said it was 5 degress! But by about 10 it was lovely!

The nights are cold but "Apparently" it does not go to far below 0 due to the location! However 0 is still bloody cold!

I would be bring some big Jackets mainly for the night and Morning!

During the day it was Beautiful!! Nice and sunny and around the low 20's

Brisbane at the moment is nice, during the day you can get around in just a t shirt (sometimes a jumper) but as long as its sunny its always quite nice!

The only time that it will be really cold is if we get showers and the wind picks up!

However in saying that, the temperature was a bit cloder than it was two weeks ago when we went down there last, so i could not say that in two weeks time it could be colder or warmer!

But i think a couple of nice warm jackets will do the job!!

As you come up the Hwy into Tenterfield, (in the centre of town), you will see a sign pointing to your right to Casino. Take this turn, drive about 35km., and on your left you will see a sign "Rover Park". Turn left, and about 3km later you will see the Office.

Phone no is (02) 67376862.
