i know i should strengthen them but does anyone make aftermrket ones?
TOYZUKI 96 coily zook,lux diffs, 3 inch suspension lift,3 inch body lift, 33'sMTRS,series 4 hopper,power steer,twin air lockers,4 LINK front and rear,2 inch spacers(GOT WIDTH)
I thought you were going to try and make twister arms. If you do get custom arms made Id be interested in whether you can make them much longer so that you can fit bigger wheels and they wont rub the firewall.
Any pics of the bent arms? I cant picture it. they seem to twist in the bushes rather then bending?
If you made twister arms would they need to be any stronger?

It refers back to how many points the diff is located back to the chassis........................ structaully not shocks ..........
so lower arms upper arms and panhard on say a patrol or cruiser isa five link
the coily zook only has 3 link front n rear radius arms (links ) and panhard

radious arms
heath (hr zook) is getting hes arms made for free
hes brother in-laws making them (love job)
ryan & others have you thort of using late model pajero radious arms (rear suspension)
96-98 NK 3.0L NL 3.5L & 2.8L diesel MODELS & later 00-02 NM 3.5 & 2.8 turbo intercooled diesel models
same look as cruiser/bundy & partol but use a bolt type mount at chassis end
ive got some pics of the arms fitterd in the rear of a hilux
ill post them after work tomorrow
just incase anyones interested
not saying you should fit the mitsubishi units just an idea to cut cost for you guys. and also gain strength
same (overkill) could fab the mounts & do the fitting for you guys or gonads (m&m)
just a thort.
even better mount them upside down (top off housing) better ground clearance. but may affect coil spring location

G'day Guys
For what it's worth check out my zook in the M&M Mczook Build topic. Here we made a custom three link plus a panhard for the rear (or 4link depending on how you count your mounting points).
This setup flexes mad and runs the M&M "Gonad's Gear" swivel joints for the upper rear control arm. The lower control arm can also be fitted with the swivel joint or a poly flex bush. Admittedly, all the chassis mounts on my zook were custom made but these type of control arms and swivel joints maybe another alternative.
Cheers
Sean

Dont look shiat to me Not too bad for a 3 link!
We'll show em.
I have said this before I think it is a waste of time playing with the standard Coily setup if you want travel.
In the end it will be less heartache and I think in the end Money just to Change it rather than rapping a bandage around it.

Ryan, how similar is the front arm setup on ya coily to the front arms on a jimny. A fair few issues back in 4wd monthly there was a 6 inch lifted white jimny. In that article the owner had strengthened the front arms cause he was bendin them too. I will have a look for the mag later tonight and post up what he did, but i will prob be beaten by someone else.

Its Peter Haasmans (sp) jimmny........................the bloke that was commentatin at Tuff truck no.2............
they flex a little betta .....he had a few issues with gettin those arms strengthen from memory ............done a NSW Suzuki club trip with him and quite few others includin Celia and Eugene Barry in the mighty VIT..........to the watagans ages ago wen i owned da spook ............his Jimmny was relatively stock then ,although it was sportin the 6" lift but no rockhopps gears and he was only runnin 30"
