diff locks

Has anyone know if Lokka diff locks are any good.
I have a 90 GQ & was thinking of fitting to the front diff.
Or am I better of saving up the extra money for an air locker?

HI DUDE.

I HAD A LOCKRIGHT DIFFLOCK IN THE FRONT OF A LWB MAV FOR 3 YEARS AND THEN MOVED IT INTO A SWB MAV FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS
I HAD TWIN AIR LOCKER IN A SWB 40 SERIES FOR YEARS.AFTER GETTING FRUSTRATED WITH BROKEN AIR LINES, WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST GQ I WAS KEEN TO GIVE THE AUTO LOCKERS AGO.APART FROM THE STEERING GETTING A LITTLE FIRMER ONLY WHEN TRAFERCASE WAS ENGAGED, I WAS RAPPED WITH THE LOCKRIGHT.100% TRACTION IN THE FRONT AND THE ABILATY TO TAKE A FULL LOCK TURN THROUGH A HARDCORE OBSTACAL.FROM WHAT I BELIVE THE LOKKA BRAND IS A DIRECT COPY OF A LOCKRIGHT SO I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT RELIABILATY.MY NEPHEW HAD A LOKKA IN HIS CAR WITH NO TROUBLES AND AT $700 IT IS DIRT CHEAP TRACTION.

Go the air lockers! I also had lockright front and rear and they are crap. No more explanation THEY ARE CRAP! :!: :!: :!:

I have had 5 vehicles with air lockers front and rear and still have 2 of them, I have had detroits ect and all I can say is AIR is the go. :lol:
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

Thanks everyone,think I,ll save a bit longer for a air locker.
I like the idea of being able to control when they are locked & proven reliability.
