I have one of these motors (albiet a bit worked) in my Bundera.

Skip is correct.... 165kw from the factory.... mine is around 218kw....

Your standard gearbox (G52 I presume) is definately not up to the task (I know I disintergrated mine!!).... supra five speed is better.... diesel landcruiser box would be best (or TH700 auto like mine)....
Look at that.... it does fit!

Yes the Turbo Diesel model came with a stronger box (not sure of the model number) but the Petrol ones (22R) came with the weaker G52 box....

Turbo diesel is the bundy you want. R151F gearbox can easily cope with that power. Im putting close to 300kW through mine without any dramas.

EFI Bundera, just wondering what you did to your SS to pump out 218kw?
The landcruiser box, what year and model would be the strongest?

I purchased my Bundera with the conversion already done, so I did not do the engine work....

The guy I purchased it off did the conversion (he owns a mechanical workshop in Canberra), but bought the motor complete (with reciepts).

200-220KW is not overly hard to achieve from these motors.

I also have a 5ltr 5spd VN Calais with COME Cam/Chip/Lifters, Ported/Polished/CC Matched Heads, Stainless VN GPA Extractors, etc.

It is around the 225KW mark....

The motor in the Bundera was originally out of a VN Calais also.... would you believe that my two motors are only 9 engine numbers apart.... freaky!!
Look at that.... it does fit!
