Hilux rear axle bearing

Is there an easy way to remove the rear axle bearings on a hilux :?:
I got one off using angle grinder, oxy, big hammer/ chisel and 20 ton press
and still managed to bend the backing plate :x
The old bearing was absolutly stuffed, badly pitted with a big crack around the outer race so I had better do the other one while I'm at it.

Heat it with gas, the bearing should expand and come loose.
Where the f#@k did that come from
