no experience myself, but most ppl i've talked to say they're better made.. stronger, work better (not as violent and unpredictable). my uncle knows some ppl that have had trouble with the lock-rites grenading...

I think they are much the same from what I have heard, parts are even interchangable so there couldn't be much difference. Rocky road reckon its the other way, they reckon they see way to many detroit's broken on the trail and wouldnt use them. There is a bit involved in setting them up aswell, thats why some people find them really harsh and others dont, there is parameters you have to be between which dictates how harsh they couple and un couple.
