Hey CJer,

What engine does your truck have ?

Did it come from the factory with the 4 cyl ??

The only ones in Aus that I have seen that are missing the parking lamps in the grill and have the plastic covers have started life as a 4cyl

Na mate it has always been a 258 5 speed .

They are not spose to have the lights in the center section as the ADR's state they should be at the extremitities of the car. Any that are fitted to the grill would have been moved there. My covers are steel not plastic.
did not know they had plastic covers at all ??

fair enough Cjer

All the 6 cyl ones I have seen have had the park lamps in there and the ones on the fender for the adr part

Mine are plastic covers that fit screw into the mounts for the lights

I have thought about getting the bessels and using those little hella 100 watt lamps as a set of spotties mounted in there but never got around to it. They are a perfect fit I just need the besils to hold them in

Mascot only sell the mountings with the lights

Good idea with the spot lights in there. not much can hit them on the trail tucked up that far :)

i just checked and my covers are plastic too :( dont know why i thought they were steel

one of the best things about Jeeps is that the cops dont know what they should have on them and what they should not
