Bumpin :D

Ichiban is all outta stock :? Anywhere else worth tryin :?:

May have to start thinkin along the toyo 1.6 route :) Unfortunately 1.6 is as big as you can easily go for approval in QLD so 2.0 etc is not feasible

Though that was from a pretty dooooodgy source :finger:

That might be so, but 1600 is a lot easier from a legal/Qld DoT point of view.

I never said you can't do a 2.0, just that the 1600 is a hell of a lot less painful.

I know but it's gonna be a sh!tfight where as up to 1600 is an 'approved' conversion which is easily engineered.

Kept looking at 4agze halfcuts online last night  My inner ricer was trying to get out

Even the non supercharged version of that engine is pretty decent. Has more go than the zook 1600. Mind you, I have not driven the 4age off road so cant really compare apples to apples.

The conversion is more of a pain though. And the supercharged version might even cause more headaches with Qld DoT.

I'm still thinking the 1600 is the way to go, even if you gotta wait for one.

I hear ya. A mate has the 4age + welded rear + mtr's and I generally outdrive him with open diffs + xterrains + 1.3 carby :) It's simply because he needs transfer gears, the 4age is too revvy and he just wheelspins. My impression anyway ;)
