Even the non supercharged version of that engine is pretty decent. Has more go than the zook 1600. Mind you, I have not driven the 4age off road so cant really compare apples to apples.
The conversion is more of a pain though. And the supercharged version might even cause more headaches with Qld DoT.
I'm still thinking the 1600 is the way to go, even if you gotta wait for one.

I hear ya. A mate has the 4age + welded rear + mtr's and I generally outdrive him with open diffs + xterrains + 1.3 carby It's simply because he needs transfer gears, the 4age is too revvy and he just wheelspins. My impression anyway
