Entries for this years Alpine 4x4 Challenge are bit light-on, so as a way to
entice all you competition four wheel drivers to try out these exciting
alpine stages we've created, we are offering half price entry.
Want to know what's on offer?
Long special stages in the alps - up to 8kms long - which could be in light
snow.

We are using a property which has never been used for competition before
The courses are tight with lots of trees and there's plenty of mud.
The emphasis is on skilled driving and not winching so there are only a
couple of stages which might require the co-driver getting out to winch.
Even if there is snow we will run a zero car through to mark the course.
Saturday we have a fun tight course winding your way through the alpine
snowgums. Another follows an open fenceline.
Sundays special stages includes SS6 which is roughly 4kms long and has a
boghole

Entrants get special alpine 4x4 Challenge winch gloves, tshirts and beanies, support crews also get a gift pack.

There are plenty of prizes on offer including ARB, Procomp, Southern Cross, Leslie and Sons, Cheezy Racing, Brawn 4x4 and a heap of others.
We will also be doing a special draw each night giving away Alpine Challenge merchandise to lucky teams.
Scrutineering to check over vehicles is open up to 11pm on Friday so you
don't have to take the day off work on Friday. Competition starts Saturday
and goes through until Monday around 1pm when we will then have a
presentation early Monday afternoon so you can head off home if you wish on Monday afternoon.
Not also that we are upholding the moretoreum on the 4 point rollcages until the end of the year so 6 point is not compulsary until the 2005 Outback 4x4 Challenge.
We've put a heap of effort into setting up these courses on private property so to ensure that we have access to this unique property next year we need more entries.
If you don't have another car to team up with, let us know as we can help
match you up.
Give us a call on 03 9725 3806 or Paul 0418 345 635 and discuss your entry today.
We are committed to run this event so come along and win the first ever
Alpine 4x4 Challenge.
Spectators - only $10
Spectators can come along and see the 4wd action for only $10 per person for the weekend - that's cheap entertainment!
Saturday - we have three special stages next door to the Mount Hotham
Airport on Alpine Highway (B500), look for our sign. It's bitumen to the
turnoff and then 200 metres of easy 4wd track to the vantage point where you can watch the stages.
If you have a 2wd you can park on the highway and walk in.
Rug up it's pretty cold and bring your own lunch and drinks, or you can
shoot up to Dinner Plain (only 10kms away) for lunch and come back to watch more action.
We will have an undercover area set up so don't worry if the weather is a
bit wet.
Sunday - there are three special stages but the best viewing is at the
mudhold on SS6 which starts at 11am.
Access is strictly four wheel drive. Look for the Alpine A Frame once again
on the Alpine Highway (B500) a bit further down the road from Dinner Plain towards Omeo (22kms from Dinner Plain - signposted Victoria River Track). Same as Saturday bring your own refreshments etc.
There are more stages on Monday morning in this same location for those who are keen.
