Well after some "spirited" driving ive developed a coolant leak!
Its external, and i can see it dripping off the front of the oil pan, so my guess is the water pump gasket/seal. Do these tend to go under a hard slog when there a bit old? And am i looking at an expensive part here?
Grrr gonna have to get up early in the morning and have a look... at the huge green puddle on my driveway

Yeah i checked her out once i got it off, the leak was definatly comming from the gasket, the hole for water to come out when the shaft seal is u/s was dry as a bone. Couple of new gaskets and some loctite number 3 and shes as good as gold again.
Was actually really suprised how good it looked, previous owner actually used anti-freeze/rust inhibitor i guess!
