Nick, the guy from Kyatt's said the kit contained 1 bearing, 2 oil seals and 1 O ring. He made no mention of a distance piece (whatever the hell that is
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
)
Thanks for that part No, I'll check out some local bearing places for availability.
As for a good strong press, the guys in the workshop next door to us, use our press for the Nissan rear wheel bearings because theirs isn't strong enough
Bazzle seeing as we're a metal fabrication workshop, we should be able to find an oxy set somewhere
Thanks everyone for the info.
Regards Andrew.
Andrew,
did that price include inner and outer oil seals and the distance piece by any chance?
I cant find any old receipts for bearing prices, but i did get a bearing part# off a spare axle shaft in the garage which i replaced the bearings in a few years ago.. NTN bearings were the bearings, Bayswater bearings supplied at the time.
NTN 4T-CRI-0966
This part# was off the inner bearing--i'm fairly certain that the outer bearing is the same size--the inner and outer bearing cups are all one piece. Make sure you've got a good strong press and a suitable sized ring spanner to remove the retaining nut. If you go to all the trouble, replace the oil seal while your at it.
