can get away with 4 inch coils with guard trimming.

since you're running 15x10s make sure the offsets to suit or you'll have serious rubbing issues.

Ive heard people running 3 inch lift with 36's (ask bogged about this)

I run 36's with 5 inch and 40mm body. (same as JK's (dirtpigs) setup) and looks to be heaps of room in there. Could easily fit 38s in there :?

i know someone running 36x12.5 pedes on a 4" suspension SWB Mav, so they should fit, dont know about how much he cut the guards though. Also they were on beadlocks so maybe they were on something like a 8" rim converted to 9"

I have 35x15 x-terrains on 8" rims with 2"body lift and 4" dobinson springs with no rubbing at all, I have removed the standard flares and no sway bars, even at full up travel no rubbing.

cool,

ive got some spacers for the front control arms (the big balls type) that will move my front axle forward a bit. dont want to fit a body lift this time round and would prefer to stick with a 4in coil,

thanks for the feedback

what about panhards ?

will i need adjustables/lengthened with 4in coils ?

Panhards - some people say you need them, others say they have 6in lifts without anything.. would love to see it...

mine when lowered from 6 to 4 was way out of align..

lowering from 6 to 4 has a greater lateral change than going from 0-4.

cuting your guards fixes all. i run 39's on 10's with a 8"+ but they never scrub on the body as i have cut the b'jesus outa the guards. imo if you cut a little you might as well cut a lot as you lose the plastic inner guard either way.

cheers bru

how wide are the 35s you are all running? i told a work shop that i was putting in a 4" lift into my GQ, then asked what size tyre could i run? his reply was 35x10.5 no probs, which is what i figured.
