94 model 80series diffs
Hey peoples, am looking at a 94 model BASIC DIESEL cruiser with steer and air, but without the BMW options(elec. wind etc.) Question is are the diffs any good with this model, herd some model cruisers had LUX diffs or somethin, any info much appreciated, tried search but didn't have three weeks to search entire FORUM.
The rear diff is a landcruiser and the front is a reversed cut hilux type one. Some have experienced problems with the front, prolly mainly from bigger tyres, locked diff and power, sometimes all 3 together, then add reverse and a hill and well you may have dramas. But I havent had an issue, prolly coz I lack power, only have 34s, arent locked in the front and am careful!

80s
hello muddyperils
the late 93 & up 80s run the larger cv joints so id say your on the money looking at 94 model 80s
correct me if im wrong from 94model 80s to 100s use the same front diff centre & cv joints
so 100s front diff assembly is no stronger than 94+ 80s
the brakes would be improved thow
