Ok what ratios are in what model and year hilux diffs .Looking for 4.8s what do i get them out of and are hilux centers interchangeable ie front to rear also can a center out of a early modle fit a late model. At what year or model do the pinion flanges change.
Dose anyone no if Hiace diff centers will fit hilux housing and axles and is it true that some hiaces come with 5.2 gearing if so what model
Lastly what different lenghts do tail shafts come in front and rear all this is going into a suki thanks

4.8:1 rario came out in the early petrol 4wd Hilux's (round headlight)
Yes hiace van diff came out in 5.29:1 (1800 petrol twin round heaflight)
I'm pretty sure that other hiace vans had em too.
They are all interchangable. The only modification you have to do with the early (corse spline pinion) hiace diffs is redrill the pinion flange. Easy to do just line up the drive shaft on the pinion flange - they have a locator - and drill away. :D
Slap on 35's and go nuts :D :D

Any time dude. Just a note........... I'm running 5.29's with 35 Creepies and an putting in a second transfere to get lower gears. The diffs by themselves are good but I'm into rock crawling and they are not low enough for me :D :D

Will have to check it out with the zuk guys as to what are standard gearbox and transfercase ratios or do transfercase as well but that alone is a 120% reduction not like the 86 i got on my GQ
