Anyone out there have a easy way to get these dam f%$king things out.

Pump a heap of grease in behind it then get a bolt or something just the right size to fit in the centre and tap it in. The grease will push the spigot bearing out. You might need to pump a bit more grease in as the bearing moves out. The bolt you use will need to be just small enough not to catch on the bearing while still holding as much grease as possible in.

Would you beleive we tried that with no luck
What was happening when you were trying it? Was the grease coming out past the bolt or was the bolt just going straight in? If the bolt was going straight in you need some more grease if it just wont budge be persistant and hit it with a bigger hammer they can be a real pita to get out.

you can buy a device, it has a sharp tapered thread, and a grease nipple, same principle as above, screws into the bearing and uses a grease gun - hydraulic pressure to push out the spigot. Or you can get an internal puller that has a slide hammer type arrangement on it to drift it out??

Shame the grease didn't work, it's a really good method.
Get a piece of M6 threaded rod (or 1/4 bsw) put a nut on the end of it, chuck on a steel body block (or a slide hammer head) and put a heavy washer and nut on the other end, insert the nut into the hole in the bearing, wedge it there so it cant fall out. Heat the crank just a little around the bearing (use an ordinary propane or butane burner) oxy will do but don't go crazy, this will release any loctite that may have been inserted with the bearing, and also open up the spigot recess in the crank, then get funky with the slide hammer.
