HD ZF tranny?

Post by RovinC »

Does anyone know where I can find out if there are nay HD parts for a ZF 4 speed?
I have a ZF4hp22 now and could swap to a 24, but not sure even that one in stock form can handle 400hp and 426lbs of tq in a D90?
I contacted Ashcroft, and all he said was he could build me a 22/24 hybrid, that being a 22 with all 24 internals. As to it handling this power, he was vague and said "dont know". So that not an answer I can live with.
I am in the USA, but am willing to contact whomever I need to
Thanks

I currently run a zf >

have 300+ hp.

485 nm torque max.
with 400 nm at 1200rpm.

My ZF is stock and so far so good. when I need to rebuild I will fit the 24v internals or the clutches ect from V12 jag.

I can have one built for you here in the good old USA.

What motor are you putting in front of it?
