60 series body lift

Post by Birlo »

I'm doing a body lift for my 60
Just wondering wether every bolt can be assumed the same and extended 2 inches
Or if I would have to measure every one...
Any replies would be good...
Thanks

They are different lengths you need to pull them all out from one side then go and get the new ones 2 inches longer than each one.

do a search its been talked about heaps.

one clue is that the rear ones are accessed through a plate that you take off and u will need to put the bolt in the opposite way to what it was factory as it wont fit through the gap.

remember to lossen off the steering shaft before lifting and you need to drop the radiator down 2 inches which is easy to do.

if it is the non-vacum assisted transfer case ie the old ones pre 85 then you will need to loosen off the selector booting a little
