just drove a disco v8 auto 95 mod idles well takes of good then when u put your foot down
dies it drives good under 1500 rpm over that dies can make it do it in drive way with foot on brack under load any ideas

does it die no mater what...or if you just tromp on the go pedal? can u get the rpm's up by gradualy accel'in?

more than likely the fuel pump have you chesked presure and flow yet

trying to find a gauge to check it with do u know what pressure it should run but im thinking its the fuel pump just need to check before spending $$$$$$$ thanks for any help

I can't remember exaxtly but I have a figure of 35-40PSI in my head,
if you car has 100,000K+ then it is a fairly good chance the pump will need replacing. If you can get the pump out (dunno if there is a floor access panel in a disc) and take it to a parts shop (not a land rover shop) and get them to match it - mine cost $160ish last year

AFM's are expensive !!!
Dont sopose they are a bosch part by any chance ?
$450 for an AFM you are 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of after market management.

Hotwire same as a Saab 900 IIRC should be $250 ish
