manual hub conversion

Post by flyinwall »

i have an 81 model lwb trayback and i am wondering if i am better of doing a manual locking hub swap or trying to get later model diffs (i have 2 complete sets of diffs for this vehicle as my brother had done a hilux diff swap and i am trying to build this "beast"on a very strict budget) any suggestions would be helpful

i call it a pain in da ass
and i was just thinking that if i swapped in the later model diffs i would also get the frond disc brakes instead of these front drums so does anyone want some of these diffs as i have 2 front and 2 rear diffs and a pile of 1ltr motor parts so if anyone in interested let me know (make me an offer!!!)
