Who works on trucks in Brisbane?

Post by benno_from_brizvegas »

The old man just bought a Mitsu Canter 4x4 and wants to do a few things to it.

He's looking for an airbag system and modded springs to soften the ride up unladen, i believe there's a mob on the southside that do it, any other recommendations?

And a turbo, what are your reccomendations for a diesel shop that install a turbo on a big-arse truck?

Lastly, anyone know a mob that can make or source foam sandwich panels with timber veneer or ply on one side and fiberglass on the other?

Cheers
Benno

For the foam panelling you could try Camec on Beaudesert Rd, they do everything for caravans and rv's or they might be able to point you in the direction for it.

For the air bags go to the airbag man at Brendale, turbo I'm not sure but ring any of the truck centres like Qld Diesel Spares etc and they'll know and the fibreglass could be done by any fibreglass mob check the yellow pages, really depends what you're after what are you doing with it. Large flat panels with a foam layer and ply try Vanglass up the coast they can make sheets up to about 2.4m wide to 8-10m long
