Hi all,
Looking to remove the R A N G E R O V E R decals from the front and rear of my truck, and put on some stainless laser-cut ones. Has anyone tried to remove these before? Is there a proven technique? Or just have go with a heat gun, scraper blade and some patience? The ones on the front look pretty crusty!

Leave mud piles in the work carpark.
You're on the right track, heat gun, hard plastic scraper and use some metho on them before hand to soften them up. Then once you have the outer skin off and there is the left over adhesive underneath use more metho or better still at this stage use eucalyptus oil to rub the rest of the glue off.
Hope this helps....
