ive got a GU trayback, its standard height at the moment. ive got a broken leaf and to fix it i thought i mightas well lift it at the same time. how high would i need to go to fit 35's??
will they fit with 2", cause thats what id like to put on, i dont have airbags either, so i can do a body lift i supose. but what does a body lift actually achieve?

You don't need to lift the body on a GU ute to get clearance for tyres like you do on a GQ. 4in lift will with proper castor correction will give you room for 36's. More than enough. It's not worth the cost and hassels of a lift just to make it look cool.
IMO
