can i fit 35's

Post by mickyd555 »

ive got a GU trayback, its standard height at the moment. ive got a broken leaf and to fix it i thought i mightas well lift it at the same time. how high would i need to go to fit 35's??

will they fit with 2", cause thats what id like to put on, i dont have airbags either, so i can do a body lift i supose. but what does a body lift actually achieve?

all help appreciated

do 2 bod and 2 spring mickey and get some big girls for it ......

body lift will give you a bit more tyre clearance from gaurds and make the truck look tuff... may need to lift bullbar etc to make look trick!!!!

You don't need to lift the body on a GU ute to get clearance for tyres like you do on a GQ. 4in lift will with proper castor correction will give you room for 36's. More than enough. It's not worth the cost and hassels of a lift just to make it look cool. IMO

GU's have massive inner guard space

Little roly had Q78's with 3inch lift no hassles

ok, thanks for the advice. at the moment im thinkin a 3" lift would probably be the go. depends on cost really. i dont really want 35's right now, nor can i afford them, but im thinkin ahead........... does everyone agree with 3"?? :?:
