brake load sensing valve mods ?

Post by cookie monster »

hi all,
just had a look at the nissan pages and found a question relating to the adjustment of the rear brake proportioning valve after a lift.

did think about that when i put the nissan springs in the back.
has anybody got any info on what neds to be done to adjust them to work correctly ?
will have a look this weekend and see if i can come up with anything, but if someone already has some experience with them, that would be great.

Good point - didn't do a thing to mine during body/suspension lift.

But I haven't had a problem, either... Perhaps I'll get real good life from my rear pads?

Cheers,

Scott

had a look in the workshop manual and that stated a 'free lenght' of 224 to 228mm.
mine is approx 200 now.
will move the bkt as far back on the slots as it goes, then get the rest by the very technical 'bending' proceedure !
