Front Shaft Spacer ?

Post by Speedman »

Hi Guys,

I have a 90 lux with a fair bit of lift (2" body and ??" suspension). The front drive shaft is pretty loose (its the std one), and when the car is level, it's showing about 8mm of the spline. I'm assuming I need more travel downwards than upwards ? Question is, where does your shaft normally sit when the car is level ? Does any of the spline normally show ?

I'm thinking I need an approx 10mm tailshaft spacer to help this ?

Cheers.

mine used to show bout 10 mm of spline, i got it lengthened and rebalanced.. spacers are ok if u only need a little bit, but id sugest getin it resized.... if its that far short and u have longer than std shocks and a fair bit of flex it might drop out when wheelin.. not good!
