popping out of low range

Post by jacka »

Having a problem with my low range popping out frequently. Any ideas what i should be looking for. From what i can tell the transfer case has been mounted correctly. Its a rockhopper series 3.

Do you have a body lift?

I found with mine that the combo of the S3 and a body lift meant that with the increased torque wind up in thhe t/case the t/case lever was hitting the body and popping out f gear. Easily fixed with a big hammer and a disregard for quality bodywork :D

do you have a body lift? We have all been suggesting this but you don't seem to be either listening or it isn't appropriate because you don't have one? So what it is?
