converting to transfercase handbrake

anyone know if you convert a widetrack handbrake to a transfer handbrake will it add any length too the tcase ? becuase i think the crossmember might hit the hand brake drum if it is longer than a non handbrake setup? am i making sense?

THE DRUM BRAKE WILL BOLT ON BUT IT IS SHORTER THAN JUST A WT FLANGE...by itself..

so this will not be a problem then? see the black crossmember?

You will need half a NT flange or redrill, as hole pattern will be different

Jake i did it to mine it fits no worries just hae to redrill the drum to suit the wide track pattern and mine fits inside the crossmember. :D

ausome thanks guys cause otherwise with my rear diff being moved back a meare 17" the standard cable is way too short and it also will make it easyer to go too rear disks if need be :lol: :lol: :armsup:
