transfer ratios

r all hilux transfer ratios the same from 84 -95
cause i just changed mine & now the speedo is out 20%
& i was always told they were the same

i have heard that the ratio is the same but the cog that runs the speedo is different therefore putting your speedo out
might be wrong though

i put my original cog back in wickh made it go from 15-20% out
the transfer came with 17 tooth cog i put in an 18

yes it was 15% out & the 18 tooth was 20%
so in theory i need a 15 tooth
