Replaced Govenor Diaphragm and now hunts a lot

Post by sambo »

I replaced the Govenor Diaphragm like i was suggested to do and not sure yet if it has fixed my ecconomy problem, but now it hunts quite a bit at idle.

What could be causing this???

It idles at around 750rpm, but i just need to adjust it as it was doing this before. So far today the hunting seems to be much better. Is it possible that it takes the diaphram a day or so to properly seal and move freely.
