Putting 91 jap surf, into 84 aus hilux

hey guys, i have just bought i 91 jap surf halfcut, computer injection, 2L turbo, with 4 speed auto. im going to be putting it into my 84 yn65 hilux that currently has a 3y 2.0l petrol mated to a 5 speed man.

just wondering if im gonna run into any major probs with the transfer case in the halfcut being the trick electronic type? as the halfcut is IFS with the auto hubs. any advice on anything to do with the changeover would be greatly appreciated!!

as long as you run the transfercase as the one from the auto, it should be ok. i think the transfer case in the half cut would be a chain driven one.

Did you get the auto and transfer sticks the four wheel drive computer should be in the cut?
If not the motor for H4 is easy to wire up to a rocker switch.

yeah i got the halfcut complete, engine, gearbox, transfer and computer...

you will have to get a 2lD sump from sold front to change with ifs one on yeh donk
