Hillbilly locker or not

Post by whiteknight »

Thinking of welding up the front diff and putting it in the rear and putting the LSD from the rear into the front..

I also have a spare LSD what if I put LSD in both front and rear but I think one of them is pretty well worn out and is probably classed as a slippery diff now..

Advice on this please...????

Do you care about the wear rate of your rear tyres? A welded diff will chew them out, as the inside wheel on corners has to spin as fast as the outer, and hence is like constant burn outs...

Don't waste your time with LSD up front. And dont bother
with hillbilly welded centres if your going to drive it on
the street every day, there a PITA.
