hope to be there. Have to pull teh 5 link out this weekend and get the arms beefed up, also need to fix the clutch hydraulics and get some new side steps fabricated - will hopefully try Superior Alignments fora set.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to scratch myself the last few weeks to get anything done - it hasn't even been washed since teh last tough tracks event yet!

FRONT & REAR RECOVERY POINTS WILL BE INSPECTED

If they are not to an adequate standard, you will not be allowed to compete

I will be heading up to the Gums on thursday night ...
Competitors, when you arrive sign in at the park office and tell them you are competing then head down to the Gums and sign in and pay your entry fee there.
Dave the food guy will be at the stages and will also have meals available at the Gums on saturday night.

Dont forget your CTP extension and proper recovery hooks front and rear.

CYA there :D

cannot be vehicle tie down points are not acceptable.

Aftermarket recovery point (available from most 4x4 shops $15- $20)

or rated lifting eyes

These points shall be adequate for the weight of the vehicle 3.25t +

CTP is an extension of you rego insurance

you will have to go to you insurer with your rego papers and ask for an extension , they normally require the event name , event location , event date, T

Tough tracks challenge is a non timed event

you have a PM

This was discussed at the last committee meeting.

From memory they would allow you to use the haymen reece style tow bar, these were the only tow bars being accepted for recovery points
eg. pin through the eye of the strap

rember these pins are designed for sheer when towing, with the weight distributed over a larger area, you may bend the pin. you may not be able to get it back out that easily

Straps over tow ball definatly not allowed
