We need your Warn Out LT230 Input gears

Post by RUFF »

We are in need of Warn out LT230 Transfer case Input Gears. Those that have LT230s with a few Miles on them would know about replacing these. They wear the internal spline and the gear then needs to be replaced. We need a few of these to modify for a conversion we are doing so if anyone has any of these lying around after replacing them we would be interested in purchasing them. Dont throw them out they are no longer junk. Please PM me if you have any or know of anyone who has any.

May also be interested in Complete LT230s in any condition at reasonable prices.

Realy doesnt matter. But most of the Transfer cases we have in stock are 1.22:1 so this is the prefered one.

No just adapting them to other Transmisions so they need to be Re-Splined. We may look at selling these as a conversion in the future.

Would these transmissions be any manuals at all ? I have been trying to get a NV4500 to LT230 adptor kit in OZ but have had no luck. I want to put a decent 5 speed behind my 6.2L diesel in my 88 Rangie as i do not want the ZF auto or a T700. Any info on what you are doing would be appreciated.

I think your best bet for one of these is to buy from the US - I think BCB makes this adaptor.

Have a complete 1983 LT230 (1.001 ratio) sitting on the bench with a stripped input gear spline. Been sitting there for nearly 12 months now - I started stripping it to replace the input gear to have a complete ready-to-go spare transfer, but kinda got distracted.

Interested at all?

Bugger. Thanks anyway and give us all some details of your kit when you get it done.

I think you are right there. Have checked out there web site before but will have to ring / fax them as they do not seem to have a email address listed. Thanks for your help guys.
