hey i was just wonndering if any one knows if a rear tailshaft out of a 4 speed MQ will fit into a 5 speed MQ?
any help would be sweet

depends....
if its a factory 5 speed put in the patrol.....
then no 4 speed shaft will fit the 5 speed motor.
if the gearbox has been put in and originally was a 4 speed then the shaft depends on the new motor / gearbox combination.

NO the L28 motor is shorter than the diesel... so the diesel gearbox sits further back.4b kidd wrote:sorry about the lack of info
