265/75's on Rangie

265/75's on Rangie
Hi i want to fit 265/75-16's on my '89 Rangie. It has a 2" lift. Will the rub on the body etc. Some say yes, others say no. Has anyone got this size on a rangie? Do you have any pictures would be great . Thanks
I've got 265/75 cooper ST with the origional alloys on my 93 Rangie. Its got about 1.5 - 2 inches of lift, no body lift. The front end is too stiff and doesn't articulate well. No Rubbing to date but most of my 4x4 work has been on Straddie and Fraser Islands and up around Rainbow beach so not a lot of wheel articulation required.
The major drama is how big my turning circle is now after adjusting the steering stops to keep the tyres from rubbing. A bit slower acceleration and uses more fuel around town too. Will be better once I change diff ratio (Toyota centre swap??).
Hope this helps,
Adam.
