RESISTANCE WIRE

RESISTANCE WIRE
Does the rover electronic dizzy have a resistance wire?
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
Ok the things I do.
I just had a look at the 87 wiring diagram and it says no resistance wire on 87 model. I assume all high energy coils will be the same.
Look at the coil . There wuill be 2 wires on positive , one is power to coil and one power to ign module. Both should have 12 volts. If there isa third with 7 volts then that is resistance wire, but wshop manual says no.
