Does the rover electronic dizzy have a resistance wire?

Ok the things I do.
I just had a look at the 87 wiring diagram and it says no resistance wire on 87 model. I assume all high energy coils will be the same.

Look at the coil . There wuill be 2 wires on positive , one is power to coil and one power to ign module. Both should have 12 volts. If there isa third with 7 volts then that is resistance wire, but wshop manual says no.

I didnt think it did, but the haynes manual is so vague when it comes to various models- you either have late or early. Just checking on how to run power to a hei dizzy that is waitng to be fitted.
