Sway Bar Disconects...1 or 2

Post by Surfin Alec »

Is it neccesary to use 2 sway bar disconnects per end or will 1 do?

I currently remove both sides, and the sway bar hits and rattles around on the control arms and springs and makes a racket.

Will the flex be the same with only 1 side disconnected?

Cheers,

Alec

ramp it and see. I'd say one side will give you 99.999% of the articulation of disconnecting both sides.

Depends on how much travel you get.
On most modded Jeeps the swayabr serverly limits the wheel travel - even just one side connected......
Thet your also not getting even wheel travel which is something I'm a stickler for ;)
