AWD is a poor excuse for a 4WD.
looks good! Don't know if you carry much stuff in the back regularly. If not , ditch the over load leave. I had mine filled with about 300 kg's roof material in the back last week, and on the way home I couldn't resist backing up on that pile of boulders beside the road. With the added weight, it gave me another 4 or some inches flex, before lifting a tire Too bad I didn't have me camera with me...

yeah ive been thinking of taking out the overload leaf from the rear.
the only stuff i cary in the back would be a heap of camping gear or at the heaviest a lawn mower, so i recon i could do without the leaf and get the extra flex i need out of the rear.
maybe some longer shocks would help as well?

ROCK 'N' ROLL AINT NOISE POLLUTION!
Reminds me of the leaflet I got from ebay..
free translation:
" The sophisticated technology which is applied to every Daiahtsu product, is also found in the quiet petrol engine of the Taft (F20). In urban areas you barely notice this 1587cc engine, in nature its sound seems like whispering. Optimal reliability and a minimum amount of servicing are other characteristics of this engine. But what really makes it an appropriate choice in these hard financial times, is its magnificent fuel economy "
YEAHHH RIGHT
The reliability statement is the only one that's true. Even in those days it seems to me that it was a petrol hungry and loud rig but then again I'm not that old yet...
Can send this as a pdf if ur interested. It's in dutch but a lot of good piccies
Cheers

The springs are factory originals, reset quite a while ago, but they have sagged again. The 50mm body lift does give it a bit more height and tyre clearance. Still on 7 inch rims, so the tyres don't look as fat as they could. Some 8's are planned, but a bit more height will be needed for wheelarch issues to keep the factory flares.
Built, not bought.
keep the factory flares? just cut back the guards and then put the flares back on!
then u will be able to run big rubber like me! and you already have the bigger engine in and the five speed! 34 inches of rubber shouldnt be a problem at all
