Bundy Gearbox swap

Post by Bundy_Harry »

Howdy all,

I have an RJ70 Bundera soft top receiving a ground up rebuild. Vehicle is getting a 22RE heart transplant. Gearbox will be swapped (POS G52) out for an R150R from LJ70. My question is

Will the R150R from the diesel bolt up the the split transfer currently mated to the G52?

Thanx in advance

pretty sure you will also need the intermediate shaft and transfer input gear as a minimum. would be cheaper and easier to get the R151F with transfer complete. that said, a R151F is overkill for a 22R.

My LJ70 was fitted originaly with a G40 and 2L engine. Now has 2L and R151 gearbox, as far I know..G40 out, R151 in.
