Just farken with his mind man
But a conversion is definitely on the cards, as long as the 3.0 stays together I'll finish off all the other mods and little things that need to be done.
If the 3.0 suddenly craps itself or when I go up to 35 Pede's and find it's too much then power will be top priority. Most likely a 3.5 SOHC using the larger t/case with 3.15 gears and some massaging. Too much power and things break, wait till you see the things that Lux is gonna bust now

Yes Ian, we have started fitting the manual set.
So far the casting boss needs to be relieved to fit the new (larger low range gear). The boss is for the 5sp selector rail location which is just above the low range gear. It's there in the auto as well but not used but will still need to be ground back flush to the housing.
We will know tomorrow if the rest of it all fits together then I'll ring Mark to start a production run.
But boy are those gears big :D

ok thanks mate,

BTW saw the post on the Paj ute,

Funny enough I am looking seriously at getting my NL converted to a dual cab traytop . There is a guy near Sydney way who does this sort of thing. Went & saw him, he was doing a conversion to a Toyo 100. Excellent job, to get a decent tray top with the dual cab I would need to extend the whellbase by about 500mm. This is the only thing that I am not happy about.

cheers
