which 80 Series pitman for x-over

Post by whiteknight »

After calling all the local wreckers and finding out that they either dont have any 80 Series or the ones that do wont seperate the pitman arm from the powersterring box I call Oldmac Toyota only to find out that there are two different pitman arms that came out in the 80 Series.

Do I need the pre 95 or the after 95 model 80 Series pitman arm for X-over ? (not highsteer if it matters)

Confused....

I have been told its the cheaper of the two.

I got mine last week but can't find the docket that gives me a part number.

Looks fairly flat and shaped like a banana.

If no one else knows i can take a picture and do some measurements if you need.

In those couple of pics it looks like the 80 series arm is longer than the IFS one. Is that the case or is it just that the 80 arm is closer to the camera?
