hey guys i'm new to this but can any body tell me what a 3.5l rover motor weighs wet, my 83 runs a 6.5 chev deisel and i need to know the weight difference so i can get the right springs. at the moment it runs 220's front, 270's rear with f&r bars and winch. lets see if the driveline will hold up. damien

Not sure, if any one has one lying around and want to do a little science experiment we could probably get close by using the information we already have. Assume one man can reasonably lift 80 kg (remember to use correct lifting technique so as not to injure yourself) , then if 2 men can pick it (and you dont have to lift it to bench height) it would be around 140 - 160kg. If it needs 3 men to reasonably lift it then it will be closer to 230kg.
