Moderators: toaddog, Elmo, DUDELUX
what is the biggest tyre u can fit with these guards or maybe with the diff moved forward 35mm? as i am not doing rears up front for now and love the look of these guards i 'd rather go this way..mine is an 84
84lux-project. A-frame, 350 chev, turbo 350 auto, duals, rears up front, crossover, twin locked and a 118" wheelbase
That is the same guard as pictured on Toymad's rig. They just dont line up well at all. They are made by AOR/Hannerman in the US. I wouldnt waste the money on getting them in from the US.customhilux wrote:can anyone make or sell these puppies
The moulds i had made do fit a little better but still need some work. If you still want a set contact Neil(GRUB)- http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... rofile&u=8 He has the moulds and may be interested in making some more. But the finished product still needs a little work to make them fit although they fit much better then the AOR ones.
I had 38.5/16/15 MT Claws and they cleared with the axle moved 2" forward.batcho101 wrote:what is the biggest tyre u can fit with these guards or maybe with the diff moved forward 35mm? as i am not doing rears up front for now and love the look of these guards i 'd rather go this way..mine is an 84

i don't know if it's worth it then,RUFF wrote:Would basicaly need trimming slightly in some areas and filling in others. I sold mine to another guy and he said they fitted fine so my body could have been bent. I ran steel guards because i knew i would damage them and they were easier to replace.
cause they will be goin on my extracab, which i'm turnin into a comp rig,
whats a stock guard worth compared to the fibreglass one's.
