LT 95 centre difflock actuator

Does anyone out there know of an alternative way of acuating the centre difflock on an LT95 (electrical,mechanical), looking at getting rid of the vacuum operated one. :?: :?:

Try taking off the actuator and manufacture a pivot and a rod to push off and pull on etc,
I've seen it done on a stage 1 V8 and he just drilled a hole in the floor and ran a rod with a ring welded on the end!!
