LT 95 centre difflock actuator

LT 95 centre difflock actuator
Does anyone out there know of an alternative way of acuating the centre difflock on an LT95 (electrical,mechanical), looking at getting rid of the vacuum operated one.

Try taking off the actuator and manufacture a pivot and a rod to push off and pull on etc,
I've seen it done on a stage 1 V8 and he just drilled a hole in the floor and ran a rod with a ring welded on the end!!
